Hello EveryoneI just got off Skype with Amanda Jo and started to think about what I have scene so far in the past 3 months. Some of the things I have seen have been repeats but I think they are still worth mentioning. You see sometimes I get a little depressed because I work 45 hours a week and when I finally get a weekend where I can go do something I tend to want to relax. So let's take

Soon after watching Arsenals dazzling displays I was offered tickets by my mate Pecky to watch England v Switzerland. I leapt at the opportunity well more like said yes and he said ok I'll get you a ticket. I don't leap at opportunities ever since I pulled a muscle. Anyway I was looking forward to the match as it was Fabio Cappello's first game in charge as the new gaffer pommy slang for coach

Tomorrow is our last day at work and so is really the first milestone in setting off.
What this article is about is this TRAVEL is a dangerous business and its about crossing the boundaries of FEAR... Fear is a disease and the root of all mental illness. Western society has over the last 50 years broken so many social barriers...but it is still in search of its soul in the cultures of other less economically developed nations.
Having been too young for Woodstock and too poor for Live Aid I have always wanted to go to an all day rock concert. I finally got the chance as my friend Mike was able to get tickets to Live Earth. Actually he too is a member of tenUK or as I like to call them the miracle workers and they were able to get him six tickets. So relatively early in the morning Jeremy Mike Sabi and I headed

The Incident Report read something along the lines of Period 4 Physical Education Year 9 Boys Basketball A relatively simple lesson plan a game.
London Part 1 Landing...

The flight from Portugal to London landed me at Luton airport in the late afternoon where I exchanged my Euros for some local British currency. The notes here are ridiculously when I couldn't fit them in my wallet I thought for a second that I had put them in sideways. My embarrassing wallet situation was eased as I exchanged a few notes for a shuttle bus ride into London's Baker Street station.

The circle line pubcrawl was bigger than I ever thought it would be with thousands of New Zealanders starting at 11am and making their way to Westminster stopping at every tube station to go out and get

Unfortunately the whole leaving things to the last minute has meant that I have needed to buy new hiking shoes I think I may have accidentally binned my beloved old ones sob.I have crammed everything into my backpack and it kinda just fits.
Well this is our last week at work. We are both getting equal bouts of excitment and nervousness occasionally bordering on blind panic. Even though we quit our jobs a while ago and have organised the tickets itinerary and even packed half our travel gear the actual act of leaving the safe monotony of our daily routines and heading off into the relative unknown has not fully hit yet. Our first

I DID IT

Finally I'm here at King's Cross and I have some time before my train leaves to take me north so I've decided to take some time to post. Typing on the international keyboard isn't easy and it's going to take some time to learn that the shift key is shorter and farther away than my pinky is used to going. My journey started last night at 710pm and ended when I arrived in London at 945am.
