Do you see the little waterfall?
After our exciting boat trip in Portland, we decided to do a day of some scenic roads in Oregon(otherwise known as the Lewis and Clark Trail.)We were able to see some magnificent waterfalls and did some hiking along the Columbia River. It was a bit overcast in the morning (the first sighting of bad weather in a long time.) The restaurant we ate lunch at overlooked where some of the best wind surfing is in the US. After a late lunch we decided that it was time to see the coast again, so we randomly drove back out to the coast of Oregon. We ended the day in Seaside, Oregon to watch the sunset. Just a wonderful reminder of how amazing the USA is, in that you can see both the sunrise and sunset over two different oceans. I must say that there was something so spactacular about the sunset in Oregon, that one cannot describe. We saw a beautiful sunset, which made up for the disgusting motel room that we had to stay in! We had a lot of driving however the sights were worth every moment in the car.
