Yosemite national park, the land of forests, lakes and mountains. We arrived late at night to our tent-cabin (a wooden frame with a tarp on top and a bed in it) and pretty much went straight to bed. We woke up in awe the next morning, facing a huge mountain! After breakfast at the lodge we went on to explore some waterfalls (unfortunately, not much water coming through because of the dry season) We continued on Tioga road all the way across the park. On the way, we stopped at Tenaya Lake and had lunch. Dipping our feet made us realize that at 8000 feet, water can be really cold!!! At the eastern exit of the park we reached the highest point of our trip: 9900 + feet (3017m). We then continued on to Mono lake and the Tufas. They are beautiful calcium deposits in extremely salty water. Refer to the pictures for better explanation :-)
