Wow, Shanghai is amazing...what a beautiful city. It was all built up in the past 15 years and what an amazing skyline they have created. This was our first real look at city life in China (Beijing is a city, but still relativley behind the times). Shanghai was very much like New York, except we were told that it is very easy to live on both a million dollar salary and one more like 500/year. There are two sides to the city, we stayed on the lower end one, but had the view of the high end. We went to several companies here and had our best classes, one on the stock market and the other on high tech. We also toured the Shanghai stock exchange, but that was a little dissapointing because it is now all automatic so we were just looking a a bunch of unattended computers. We also had our first bites of real Western food...I had an enchilada and it tasted like gold...the food is starting to wear on us, but you really can't eat any one thing for two weeks straight. We are leaving from a different city, Hangzhou (something like that) so we can see

This is the most well known part of the skyline...pretty neat.
