TCN Tower
Noveen, Lyn & Ken This day was a late start as a result of the day before - we didn't realise we were exhausted. We bought tickets for the Hop on Hop Off bus to see the sites of Toronto we stopped at the TCN tower which was the tallest tower until the big one was built in Dubai. We went up in the elevator which took 58 seconds to get to the top - you wouldn't want to be scared of heights and the lift was on the side and you could see how fast you were going up while trying to look at the scenery below and beyond.
Once at the top you can see why Toronto is called the city of condominiums - huge towers everywhere and a lot more being built. Drinks were had at the restaurant after looking around the tower and all the views from there - had to do the drinks - great views of a massive Toronto from the restaurant too.
The Rogers Centre was next door so of course we bought tickets to the game for that night - the Toronto Blue Jays were playing the New York Yankees and locals advised
Baseball game
Rogers stadium Blue Jays thrashed the Yankees - 2 Nil that the NY Yankees would thrash the Blue Jays.
We then had a trip around the islands in the boat before heading back to the hotel and getting ready to go to the game. John being an old base baller from way back did not think we would watch the whole game but it was great and watched the whole game and had the obligatory hot dog and beer - I had water. The Blue Jays thrashed the Yankees!!! YAY! It was a great night and so glad we went.
Another late night drink at the Elephant and Castle and back home.
Today John is doing the blog before we fly to Montreal at Midday. Yes I was in the gym while John was doing this blog.
