Tottenham attack
checkout the size of this ground! Managed to source some very sort after tickets to see a football (and its NOT called soccer apparently) match in the premiere league through Peter. Went with my cousin Rach who was slightly more clueless than I was about the whole football occasion. Fantastic tickets we were in the middle of the Arsenal goal, 6 rows back.
Nothing can explain the magic of the night - football means so much to these people. So much that they don't inform the grounds of a relation's death so they can keep buying their season tickets and so therefore can keep going to the matches. The singing particulary added to the whole atmopshere - it really demonstrated the passion. One of the best parts of the night was the scoring of the Arsenal goal - everyone jumped around and hugged one another.
They were playing Tottenham Spurs - another London club and passionate rivals. These people also have long histories I don't know in New Zealand a chant that said " '61 never again" would surive.
If you get a chance - don't miss it. Totally recommended by Kim!!
