we are back.we are back.we are back.

Wow.. that is all i can say
We are addicted!

No other way to explain the need to go back to that mountain pass and experience it on a nice clear sunny day. Our plan was to back track thru route 55, and then go to the Geirangerfjord (which is included on UNESCO's World Heritage List) drive to the Trollstigen (English: Trolls' Path)which is a snake like mountain road with its steep incline of 9%!a(MISSING)nd eleven hairbends down a steep mountainside ( we never learn) and then try to get to the city of Molde in time for a jazz concert and then finish at our out of the way storjford hotel and make it for shabbat by 10 at night..

So the download is this .... we drove for about nine hours. Half of those hours I was in a state of fear that we would end up on the bottom of a cliff or just totally overwhelmed by the ominousness of the mountains.. and remember I am from Colorado! At least three times during this trip I was praying that the brakes in the car didn't burn.

For the other half of the ride - we were praising ourselves how well we did surviving and taking in the views that one cannot even comprehend.

All of this and trying to keep track of the time to make it to a Jazz concert of a famous artist that Jeff remembers as a kid. To get to Molde one has to take a ferry. The transportation ferry system is an interesting one. first you have to line up for the ferry. In the waiting area to get onto the ferry there are marked rows 1,2,3, on the asphalt. Cars get "into line" and when a car gets to the end of a row the next car goes to beginning of row two and so on. When it's time to board the ferry everyone is in line.

Well, we didnt understand the system and basically parked pass the line in lane one and waited trying to figure out where the cars in lane two were going. Maybe they are for a different ferry? maybe it's only big cars? well as we were boarding and as passed all the cars in lane two did we realize that we cut in line.

The ferry is pretty efficient but it's a very very slow pace of life. On the ferry -everyone gets out of the car to the waiting room ( we didnt realize that and just waited in the car which we assume you are not allowed to do for safety reasons.) back in the car and off the ferry.

So we made it to Molde waited for two hours in the rain while listening to this warm up singer who I guess would be called alternative. Jeff famous singer didnt look so famous any more and at one point(i was almost blue ice myself) jeff looked at me and said "Im freezing lets go find those car seats😊.

Made it to the hotel by shabbat and then had the longest shabbat of our life ,,,😊
