Today I tested out my new old lady's rail card - how come I'm old enough for one? And I took a train through the beautiful Welsh countryside to the coast at Aberystwyth. Its a stunning ride through steep valleys and then along the beautiful Dovey valley. There was still snow on the hills, and lost of floods too. I spent 4 hours in Aber, mostly near the sea. It was pretty rough and great fun to watch. I also climbed the Constitution Hill, which was very windy. Alex had primed me about how to set the camera on timer, so I could take pictures of myself. But it was so rough that either the camera blew over, or I did! - thus lots of tasteful pics of sky, grass and my hand!

Another time I shall get off at Borth, the previous station, and walk over the cliffs to catch the train back at Aber. Watch this space.
