Dear all, hope everyone is sitting comfortably...... then i'll begin.... we have just spent the week in Fiji, slap bang in the middle of the South Pacific!! its as far from home as we could ever get! Fiji was as you could expect hot, infact very hot at times, i believe it may have been as hot as the "supposed" heat wave in UK. We stayed in the main town of Nadi, prenounced Nandi for some apparent reason. Nadi was a bit of a disappointment, as we found it quite dirty and full of people trying to hustle us into their establishments. After Thailand we were more than prepared for them! I even rugby tackled some guy for trying to hand me a flyer! honestly! so we spent quite a bit of by the pool and chilling at our apartment which had a fantastic restaurant.

The real side to Fiji however is on the Islands. We did two separate day trips to two different islands and on both occasions where absolutely blown away by their beauty. The first was South Sea Island, this was a very small deserted island with amazing coral surrounding it. This island was actually a few hunred meters accross from infamous Celebrity (sic) Love Island. Speaking of which we are both guted to be missing the excting new series..... South Sea island was great, they left us on the island from 9 in the morning and collected us at 5, they also provided us with as much food and drinks as we could manage. The island was so small it took us 10 mins to Kyack around it! and probably about 5 to walk. The island was surrounded by amazing coral and even more amazing fish. Much time was spent snorkling around it! After our great experience here we decided to do another trip, only this ime to Malamala Island, which again was great, and we again lay on another uninhabited Island.
Fiji was a great experience but i think if we could go again we would just go to the islands and stay on them. It really looks like the most amazing trip and we were very jealous speaking to people who were staying. But possibly next time...

Thats all folks, we are now in Rarotonga, which is beautiful, but costs a bomb for t'internet, prioirties lie with food unfortunately!
talk soon, Kyle and Nic
