Unlike a lot of fellow travellers, I tend to only dip my feet into a country, quite often only staying a day or two before heading off somewhere else.

We've never been to Panama but... I agree with you that watching a ship go through the locks sounds boring! Sounds like a beautiful city. Thanks for sharing your perceptions. Your learned a lot of the history.
