Yes, today was an awesome day too. First, I want to say thank you for keeping up with us all week long. We have had a fabulous time on our trip and it is our pleasure to recreate our excursions for your virtual realities. WARNING: The trip will end and our regular life will resume. Please begin to prepare for the end of your vicarious living.

First thing was first: a top notch breakfast made by our host, Ann. That was great way to begin our day. Then we headed to Concord, CA to visit our friends Tiffany and Will. IRONY: We met these two lovebirds in our pre-marital counseling course at Concord Church and Will just transfered out here for his blessed new job on July 5th. We had dinner went them the Friday before we left and definitely had to put them on our itinerary. They have moved in to a beautiful home with a gas oven and large master closet! (those are the high points I saw :-) ) Best Wishes to the Hunters!

We left Tiffany and Will to go and visit one of Danny's cousins, (Lil) Harold. I was happy to meet him because this is Aunt Linda's son and she is always talking about him. I don't remember the part about him being 6' 3". Gosh he is tall! He was going to his dad's (Big) Harold where we also met Kayla, Lil Harold's daughter. It has been an all around family reunion for the Joneses...minus the bbq, mosquitos, and Frankie Beverly loop.

Big Harold lives in Oakland and it was daytime, so Danny took me by his old neighborhood. To his amazement, his grandpa's old house was painted yellow and now a brick/metal fence surrounded the property. I guess 20 years is enough time to change a few lanscape designs.

Next came the bridges! We went across the Bay Bridge first to go through San Francisco to get to the Golden Gate Bridge. Both very marvelous wonders of manual labor. We stopped on the north side of the GGB to take pictures with another 100 sightseers. Then we left that photo op for the Muir Woods where we witnessed the beauty of the Coastal Redwoods. It is just 10 winding, steep, nerve racking miles north of the GGB. I might look at the average tree like a bush now. These trees towered into the sky so far up that on some you couldn't see the top. They are truly a natural wonder. Our third bridge, the Richmond Bridge, took us from the woods back to our bed and breakfast. And yes, there was food there upon our return. I don't know how were are going to adjust when we get back. However, I have a feeling that reality won't take too long to set in.

We are going to sleep now to rest up for Napa and the Fisherman's Wharf.

As the Jones' World Turns signing off.
