Just a quick note, the night before my journey begins!!! Raining all day here in Calgary. Hoping when we head out in the morning the skies will have cleared up for us. We don't have too big of a day planned tomorrow. Going to take the Cowboy Trail north up past Rocky Mountain house and spend our first night just outside of Hinton at The KOA Campground there. Planning to head over to Miette Hot Springs after we get situated at the KOA and enjoy a nice soak there. Neither of us have been there before, so we'll do that and grab some dinner and head back to our site for the night. We have our trip planned out as far as where we intend to rest our heads each night, so I am hoping that our schedule is going to work out as planned right up to our ferry we have booked for our return trip home. A couple weeks ago a few spots on the Alaskan highway were totally washed away with road closures for days, so we are hoping by the time we get up there the delays won't be too bad, or the road conditions. Here's hoping for nice roadways, and nice weather!!
