WE have been really busy the last couple of days. We were able to make an inquiry into our family tree at the archives here in Krakow.

Leaving Warsaw for Torun. Check out all the photos. Limited time to post, due to school work - I have a final paper due. Management issues in Heritage Tourism.

Found a nice little track to run on in Krakow. Not so easy in Warsaw though.

Warm sunny weather since we have arrived. Very humid today though- temp went up to 33 or about 91 degrees. Train got up to about 95 mph on the way to Warsaw.

Wheelchair

We were able to get a wheelchair. I must have pushed mom a mile in each direction on a deteriorated road. This was half way. Back then the camp had no grass and was 30 cm of mud. All that is left today are mostly the chimneys of the barracks. Sadly ironic, because the Germans chopped down all the trees and there was nothing to burn to keep warm in the winter- they were never used for comfort. You can see the trees in the background that we came back from- where the crematoriums were and the railroad tracks ended. Nothing short of a reminder of how evil humans can be towards each other. Words can't describe the horror that went on here.

Historic site visited
Such an unbelievably sad historical site to visit but its history under the circumstances. Thanks for sharing. Dinner pic is cute. You have more muscles from gyms and pushing mom around. :)
