We've been in Saigon for 4 days now, it's an amazing place and a complete contrast to the laid back islands we were on recently.
We had a lot of 'jobs' to do here, sort out a bus ticket to take us north, internet (again) much needed laundry and shopping to replenish toileteries that are running low.
It's a great place to do all these things, in between sightseeing and just 'hanging out' in street bars.
We've managed to get a fast internet so I've added lots of photos instead of me rambling on I'll let the photos do it.
The traffic here is completly crazy, but you do get used to the constant beeping from all around you and learn to ignore it. Crossing the road is an art, basically you just walk and they all weave round you, the trick is to keep going-don't hesitate or they'll get confused and hit you!!
I've added a link that was sent to me by a travella from Minisota last night. It should helpyou get an idea how it is. :-
