The mischievous kitten who kept us up the first few nights
After arriving for the house sit on Saturday we have simply spent the majority of the time taking it nice and easy and enjoying the creature comforts of home while caring for the pets and garden. It is a stunning area with the majority of the houses overlooking something similar to Linear Park back in Adelaide and there is also an impressive walking trail which we have been taking advantage of daily.

The owners arrive home next Monday but today we went to meet the couple for our next house sit which is only 10 minutes up the highway. The vision for the area appears to be a semi-rural one with the houses on approximately one acre blocks. The house and property we will be staying in is spectacularly maintained. On the animal front we will be looking after dogs, cats, fish, chickens, budgies and cockies while we will also be busy watering fruit trees, vegetables and various trees and flowers.

We took a drive afterwards out to Collie (a coal mining town) and on the way back visited the Wellington Dam which is set amongst the pristine Wellington National Park.

Get in the spa Keefy
Come on Keef, next blog I want to hear that you have had an all day drinking session with some of the locals and couldn't find your way home, so had to hitch hike with a crazed murderer, but you managed to escape.
