Oh boy I was now definitely really sick. I felt miserable all night coughing incessantly and my sinuses felt like they were going to explode. At 7:30am Steve and I got up got some breakfast and drove to the pharmacy to get some cold medicine for me. We were waiting outside along with several other people when the pharmacist showed up and opened up the store. She recommended several different cold remedies and a whole bag of medicine only cost 11€s! We went back to the hotel and I took some of each, the cough syrup, decongestant and cough tablet and Steve and I went back to bed until noon-ish.

Rachel had gone to the hotel pool while we slept so we joined her there. I was hungry so I ordered a club sandwich from the pool bar and somehow the woman make 3 sandwiches instead of just one. She was not happy when I brought the other two back to her. We stayed at the pool all afternoon and Steve hit the gym.

Later on we got cleaned up and headed into town to eat and shop. We decided to eat at Katerina’s in Little Venice. What a great place this was! Our table wasn’t quite ready so they gave us 3 glasses of wine to compensate. I had some delicious shrimp scampi and Steve and Rachel split a sampler appetizer that had a whole bunch of different stuff. I was still getting episodes of those awful coughing fits and had to run down to the ladies room to cough my brains out a few times. After dinner we walked around town a bit more then headed back to the hotel around midnight – 1am. We talked about going out again but in the end we decided to hang out on our balcony and at the pool and drink our own drinks.

We Skyped with Carley back home and saw Steve's chihuahua Diesel, poor Diesel looked so confused by the Skype thing. He could hear us but couldn’t figure out where our voices were coming from. Later we will see that Steve left his white Puma hat at the pool couch area as evidenced in a photo!!

Love Mykonos
Despite the tourism, enough residential elements are vibrant in Mykonos. Mykonos attractions, the endless narrow alleys, the windmills, the whitewashed ledges, the blue and red domes –allhere. The cube houses still play on blue and white; they make for a harmonious yet repetitive whole, given the extend of residential development. The trademark of Mykonos\' Hora, an image famous around the world, is Kato Myli, the windmills on the low hill of SE Hora. Feel free to add a text link for my website http://www.mykonosgold.com :) I would really appreciate it!
