26th October
After another day on the beach in the rain we set off along the coast. We went to get GPL at a garage in Gijon bit it had obviously been bulldozed to make way for a new road! It wasn't much fun driving in the rain so we stopped in Luarca for the night. We parked by the harbour wall and watched the waves lashing over the breakwater.
We headed inland and when the rain stopped for a couple of hours Phil decided to fix the toilet, which was leaking. Glad it wasn't my job!
On to Lugo in torrential rain. It rained all night and is still raining now. So here I sit, in a lay by next to pile of gravel, wearing three fleeces listening to the endless pounding on the roof. Reminds me very much of the UK, where's the chocolate..........
