breakfast on the terrace
Sea of Marmara ın the dıstance Got off the plane in Istanbul to a warm and humid day. Brekky on the rooftop terrace, sunshine and views of the Sea of Marmara. Once our room was ready, had a shower (yay!), and a bit of a rest, then off for a wander. Went up (street), found a nice little place and had a chicken doner wrap and fresh juice, then explored the Grand Bazaar, what a fascinating place - lots of nooks, crannies, funny little turns and alleys, and different areas - the jewellery area, the leather goods, etc etc. Then followed the crowd downhill and eventually found the spice bazaar - that place smells (and looks) amazing! Caught the tram back to Sultanahmet and went back to our hotel for a rest. Woke up just in time to go to our dinner at Cooking Alaturka. Four course set meal - absolutely delish! The soup was yoghurt with herbs and little lumps of cheese, the main was aubergine stuffed with meat and baked So good in fact that we've booked in to do a cooking course with them when we get back to Istanbul! And oh so looking forward to sleep tonight!

Wow
I've been checking out all the photos, the place just looks so amazing, and fun! I'm glad the term 'settling down' doesn't apply to you two!
