Our second day in Calgary. The Stampede is in full swing. We went to a steak house last night for tea and people were all in a jolly mood. I had half a beef rib which turned out to be a plate full of beef! It was delicious, but too much! Russell, Mini & Timothy are great to be around and we are being well cared for. Went to visit Hamish & Betty today - such a super couple - it was so easy to just sit and talk and pick up our friendship. This morning we went to the North Calgary Community Church which is still meeting in the community centre - the songs were good - we even knew some of them - the message was long but very good. Two ladies I remembered from when I was living here. That was so good.
