Hello everyone. Firstly, a message for Timothy. We are in this big old house. It is pale green two storied. Our suite is number 3. You need a parking permit which you will get at the Ocean Island backpackers on a street beginning with "P" sorry, can't remember the rest right now. We have paid for you so just let them see your ID get your parking permit and come right over. Looking forward to seeing you on Friday.
To everyone else (and you too Timothy) We had the greatest trip over here. The Ferry ride was outstanding. We sat down at the buffet lunch which was all our favourites - fishy things for Ron and major chocolate things for me. Prior to that, however, we did a huge trek yesterday around Stanley Park seawall - On the way there were lots of people doing very odd types of exercises - one guy was doing pressups on a log - so vigorously, I hope it was worth it! Another chap was sitting precariously on a rock doing yoga (I think he was a poser). There were masses of benches to sit on. People had donated them in memory of someone else. They were every few yards along the way. Funny thing was, when we were ready to sit down and have our lunch, there weren't any benches to be seen. I guess they had not got to that area yet. Anyway, we finally found one, never mind the view was of a sulphur works. We luxuriated in the fact that we weren't walking any more. Next stop was the aquarium - wow, what a place - oh we came upon an native village type place complete with Indian dancers which was most interesting. At the aquarium we particularly loved the Bulgar Whales. Anyway tiredness set in so we called "uncle" and headed for "home" - sadly we took an extra loop. Boy, were we sore this morning. A bit of a hustle up and we were on our way again. We have just had a great meal of ham, salad, and a nice drop of BC Sav Blanc. Now we will stroll down to the Bay.
Our love to you all,
Ron & Pat

Raining here!
Sounds awesome. We have had lots of rain here. I drove out to meeting of the waters where the water was over the path and still rising! Nicole and Ryan brought home their reports the other day - they are both doing well. Fiona was a little concerned about Ryan's report, but he explained that "the standards I am assessed against are for where I should be at the end of the year, so I am doing fine". Thanks for keeping us up to date on your excursions. Love Peter
