Rach sitting squeezed at ppls feet in the bus so we could fit to the airport!
This morning we went out for breakfast up the road from our hostel, and then went for a walk into the town. Elle bought a new black cardigan and Rach had a really good, but very small, moccachino. We headed back to the hostel to do our laundry so that we had a pack full of clean clothes before we left for the US. It took about 4 hours because the washer kept getting stuck and stopping and the dryer was useless!

At 3pm we left for the airport, nice and early because we had been told we had to catch 2 trains and a bus to get there. We had to say goodbye to our friends from Tasmania who we had been with since the start of the tour, which was quite sad! We managed to get to the airport ok, thanks to the help of a very nice Brazilian girl who showed us which line to take. It was lucky we left early, because we had a muck up with our flight and when the day of our flight had been changed ages ago the reservation number had been changed but the ticket was still for the previous day! We had to pay $100 US to sort it out and it took quite a while. Not our fault though, so we will get it back from Flight Centre. So we hopped on the plane for a 17 hour flight to San Francisco, and we will arrive at 8am on Tuesday morning ready for our first day in the US, and the start of the second leg of our journey!! Exciiiiting!!! 😊

Hey guys. I hope you have had a very good time in Brasil. How was Rio? Sao Paulo's traffic is crazy, hey. I know. Oh yeah. One of the biggest cities in the world. Did you try a good food there? I hope so. Have fun in USA.
