What I know about Peru:

High altitude can cause altitude sickness and coca tea is supposed to help with this.

Pisco sour is the national drink.

Peruvians eat guinea pig and alpaca.

Potatoes came from Peru.

Machu Picchu is one of the seven wonders of the world.

The Inca civilization began in Cuzco.

Dollars are widely used in Peru (or at least Cuzco).

I am leaving for Cuzco, Peru on June 28, and this is my Travel Blog.

When you're in Peru don't forget to try the Peruvian ceviche. It's supposed to be delicious. They also have lots of Oriental food since they're is a large Asian culture in Peru. I know this from my parents who visited Peru a few years ago.
