Today we thought we would explore Dublin. We caught the bus into the City where we boarded the "Hop on Hop Off" Tour Bus.
We stayed on the bus for the first loop which took about an hour and a half. We then decided where we would like to get off. Our first visit was at the Library to have a look at the history of the "O'Brien" name and to see if we could quickly trace some ancestors. We then found Molly Malone and had a photograph with her. (you would be pleased, Rosie)
We then went to a lovely Cafe called the Cafe en Seine (to get us in the mood for Paris!). It has fabulous decor.
Afterwhich we had a lovely walk through the St. Stephens Green gardens.
We wandered around the city and then returned to the main street, O'Connell Street, to meet Claire and her daughter, Sarah.
We all went to the Leprachauun Museum, which we found quite interesting, and then we went out for dinner together.
Another lovely day, again we were blessed with beautiful weather.
( the travel blog site wont allow me to write text on the photos, so I am unable to name each one at the moment. I will try and name them when the site allows me to edit)
The photos on todays blog are ones which we took while in Dublin City.
