I was only there for one day as going there was more of a spur of the moment decision but I loved Munich because even though it is such a large city, the height and old architecture of all the buildings still gives it a small city feel. And because there are no real large skyscrapers it means the sun actually reaches the streets in the CBD 😊. The city is also really alive with people, cute cafes and of course shops. But since I have been here I have resisted the urge to go clothes shopping because of my trip theory. Basically because some destinations are so cheap to get to, for eg. London is 55 Euro return, every time I hold back from buying one pair of pants or a top, that's another country I can see.

We had every intention of entering the Rezidens but when we found out it would cost us like 12 Euro each we couldn’t justify the cost, so we settled for walking around the perimeter….BUT…as we were doing so some guy who worked there just let us in through a back door so we saw it all for free 😊. HofbrahausHofbrahausHofbrahaus

This is supposedly a place all you beer lovers have to visit. I can say the food was great but i cannot comment on the beer from personal experience. However these bavarians sure do consume an insane amount of beer....forget water, its pretty much beer all the way!
there we realized we had a problem, by the time we got home that night all the shops would be closed and would remain closed for the next two days, and we were running dangerously low on toilet paper so we decided to take a roll…..Bad Idea….for those of you who know ‘My name is Earl’, karma came back to bite us in the ass, and on the way home we just missed our train and had to wait for over an hour for the next one! Moral of the story, don’t steal, even if it is just one roll of toilet paper from a very rich palace!

The Germans all say that Bavaria is not really Germany but likewise the Bavarians also like to think of themselves as better than the rest of the Germans, and there actually is a slight difference that can be seen with the Bavarians. A decent number of them still wear some traditional articles of clothing and their German is much more difficult to understand than up north.

Was used to house the Bavarian Rules in the past and you can tell that it was made for Royalty. Not quite as impressive as the Sonssaci but still very impressive.

Bec is the reason I went down to Bavaria for Easter. She is one of my best friends from high school and is currently studying in Ingolstadt. It's really cool that our talks in school about being in Europe together have become reality
