We did the red couch photograph today. The entire trip seems to have everything booked for the least opportune time for a child. The red couch was scheduled at 12:00. That meant that lunch would need to be served early, late, or both. In my case I chose both. Aislinn got a bottle before the picture and some mashed potatoes at Lucy's afterwards. Of course, it may be that there is so much going on that we do not have much choice of when to schedule it. However, that does not seem to ease the difficulty.

The pictures turned out well. She did not like being placed on the couch with the other children. She does not like to be separated from her dad. So she cried during those pictures.

This was the last major event before leaving. Because the visa processing only takes two days, instead of three, I now have an "extra" day in Guangzhou. If I am feeling up to it, we will go to the zoo tomorrow. Feeling up to it will be tough since the smog in the city is causing me much grief. My sinuses are inflamed and congested and my chest feels tight, making breathing difficult. So feeling up to it will relying heavily on whether the smog level is low tomorrow.

As a follow up to a previous post, Aislinn is now thoroughly enjoying her bath. I am attaching a photo of her splashing around it the tub.
