This is where we moved to, on the 26th of April. We were living in Tibetan Ashoka Guest House in McLeoed Gunj. We decided to move away from the city (yup, we will come right back) to the quieter little village of Bhagsu. Bhagsu was nothing by hills about four years ago. Now, it is hopping with modern hotels, guest houses, and a ton of people from Israel. Here is where the party is at!
One tip, now on when you try to picture this part of the world, please throw in Yoga, massage and meditation centers, as many as you wish. Get creative. Let them be of all shapes, sizes, textures and smells, energies (and auras). Forgive me, I get carried away.

So, a trek up a steep hill is where we chose to stay. The room was on the second storey of a home owned by an older lady, now living there with her son and brand new daughter-in-law. There was an outside water source, an outside bathroom, a small kitchen-like area where we could burn wood. To serve our cooking desires, we bought a kerosene stove. We soon developed a taste for kerosene - all delicaies we prepared were imbibed with the smell of kerosene. So, over a month we got used to lemon-kerosene tea, and grilled cheese with tomato and kerosene... We have sufferred no physical harm.

We know we will move soon. The walk to both of our work places is about 30 min one way. There are mice and giant spiders living with us. We are tired of the outside bathroom, which remains rather unclean and the domestic drama of the owners.

Thus, here we go.... but before we do that, here are some photos of the place.
