To all our faithful supporters we bring this update. We express our sincere thanks to all who bowed their knees and petitioned our Heavenly Father on behalf of Charles and Editha. They desired so much to be married, but time and time again they faced delays. Our hearts were touched as we witnessed our brother's heaviness.
Our last report was that Charles had gone to Dar Es Salaam on a mission. The mission was to try to convince family members to allow his wedding. They were wed this past Thursday. Special thanks goes to Editha's mother who was willing to influence the family as much as possible to look favorably upon Charles' request.
Saturday evening it was such a pleasure to drive to the Bus Station here in Iringa, and pick up both Charles and Editha.
Charles' face was just beaming as we greeted him amongst the buses filling the air with diesel fumes. We drove to the lower section of the parking lot and there next to some luggage sat Editha. How wonderful to meet and greet our sister in Christ.
Sunday following morning worship we had the newlyweds over for lunch and I took these pictures.
We raise thanks to our God for blessing these two with a new life together! Hongera sana Charles & Editha!
George
