Hola! So the traveling was kind of rough despite the beautiful views. Oh but before I start, I should preface this witht he fact that I am 1) not a good typist and 2) a horrible speller. So please forgive and forget. OKay well so the trip was not so good because I was nervous and when i'm nervous I get hot. So when I landed I probably had a thousand things racing through my mind, What next? Do i exchange money here? Where are my bags? Am i going to look really dumb carrying two big suitcases, my packed full backpack, and a purse? (yeh probably) Would my family even be here to pick me up?? Hallelujah and thank the Lord that when I got outside it only took my a few minutes to find my new mom (Rosario) holding a sign with my name on it! And then things went really fast after that, two men grabbed my bags and she was hugging me and speaking in Spanish, which oh, did I mention I don't understand? Things were just happening and all I could do was smile and say "Gracias" and "Si". Oh well. So we drove maybe fifteen minutes (with the windows down thank goodness because its like 75 degrees here and these jeans are so hot) to Heredia which is a smaller town north of San Jose, the capital. Mi casa is small and cute and I have my own room with a desk and a wardrobe and a fan! I'll try to add a picture. My bathroom is kinda on the other side of the house but I don't really care cause its all mine 😊 Rosario and Juan ( her husband) live here together and he is a taxi driver (taxista 😊) and she takes care of the house. They may or may not have three or two kids because she was telling me but like I said I don't understand much hah. Anyways, she told me she is a Christian and tom we ( or maybe just her? once again not quite sure) are going to church (iglesia 😊) But I'm am saving the best part for last... They have a dog!! Haha i was so excited and she is a miniture shnauzer (sp?) and her name is Kissy and she is precious and we love each other. Well thats about it for now, I'll add more when I have something interesting to say!
