Today we were heading towards Bigfork and it was going to take about 4 ½ hours so we had brekkie in the hotel first. We had to get some dresses for the girls as Jake and Jen asked them to be flower girls for the wedding. So we went to Spokane Valley mall and got some nice outfits for them and some shoes.
On our travels we crossed into Idaho State which we travelled for about an hour. Then we crossed over into Montana which took us over the Coeur D’Alene Mountains which were huge. We soon headed on to Bigfork and the road was really good until we hit the river. Most of the bridges are being worked on at the moment and the road works slowed us down a little.

We soon exited the highway and travelled for 2 hours up to Flathead Lake and on to Bigfork. We soon found were we were staying and got sorted with our bags. We are not staying to far from Jens mum and dad’s place so we headed down there for dinner. We played out on the front lawn with the kids and played with the Frisbee’s for a while then headed down to the lake.
Flathead lake is huge it’s a very clean lake and the water is crystal clear. The girls didn’t go for a swim so we just played on the rocks and chucked stones into the water. Dinner was soon ready so we went back up to the house and had a lovely veggie pasta meal so Dani loved that.

We soon finished and had time to relax with a cuppa and had a chat with everyone.
Then time was getting on so we headed back to our cabin and got sorted for bed. It was going to be a busy week ahead before the wedding on Saturday afternoon.
