The VillageThe VillageThe Village

peak hour
Hi All,
We've managed to secure a house in the village. Its only just been built, three bedrooms two bathrooms and a big living room and kitchen. See the photos. The rent is $250 per month so lower than our budget! The only down side is it is unfurnished. We hope to move in this week sometime. They are just putting in the finishing touches. They are also giving us a bed & some chairs. We are borrowing a dining table from Wendi, so all we'll need is bedding for guests, manchester and storage for clothes etc.
We are unlikely to be cooking as there is an excellent breakfast place around the corner (iced coffee & homemade lemonade is yum!) & RDI has lunch & dinner provided for a small fee.
We went into town today with Sua to buy mountain bikes ($75 for 2) They are great & we will be using them tomorrow for a recce to my first field site.
I spent this morning putting details to my project plan and trying to download well data but yet again, apple doesn't talk to windows (mdb files). Computers, they suck!!
We are really absorbing so much here, it is
