Day 153 (Sunday 20/09/09, NJJ)
After breakfast at the motel we drove on to Hollywood via downtown Los Angeles. Drove along Hollywood Boulevard stopped at the Chinese Theatre and then on to Griffith Observatory. Drove along Wilshire to get to Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive and then left to go to Santa Monica where we had lunch at Hooters. After seeing the pier we drove to Bakersfield to a motel that we'd booked in advance. This was the first point that we had any tension in the holiday party but food at Black Angus steakhouse put us in a better mood.
