until we leave for the FIFA World Cup!!!

So here we are, it's World Cup time again and almost time to take off for South Africa. This will be the first time Janel comes to a World Cup with me. From what I understand, she did not enjoy having me away for 40 days in 2006. hehe

We are looking forward to travelling to a place new to us, to watch some exciting soccer and hope to see one of our teams win. Our first choice is obviously Brazil, with Cameroon being our second option for several reasons:
- I enjoy watching African teams play their fun, free brand of soccer
- I have been wanting to see them play live since their 1990 run in Italy
- Samuel Eto'o is Janel's favorite player
- It would be neat to see an African team win it for the first time at the first World Cup held in Africa

We will use this blog to record some of our experiences and highlights while in South Africa.
