arrived!

We have arrived safely in Kuala Lumpur! Flight was fine when we finally set off after an hour delay, apart from a bit of turbulence early on that had us clutching each others hands (and our beers!). We had a bit of a strop initially when we realised that we were on a row of 3 seats after we booked to be in a row of just 2, hannah was planning to complain when we got home (just like her mother always does!) but when we realised we actually had all 3 seats to ourselves we soon shut up and got some sleep. When we arrived we decided we should start as we mean to go on and not waste half our money on a taxi, so off we went on the bus to KL city centre for a bargain 2 pounds. Once we got there a taxi man offered to take us for about 7 pounds but no, we thought we were proud of what we had already managed to acheive on a budget so we would carry on. So after a hunt for the monorail in which we failed to find the monorail in the actual bus station but managed to find it 400 metres up the road, and thanks to the help of a lovely man in tourist information who marked our hotel on a map for us, we made it there from the airport on a grand total of about 2.50 sterling! not bad, so we arrived at the hotel sweaty, tired, but proud of ourselves and were rewarded with a dip in the pool while we watched some lightening flashing over the Kl tower. Off for our first tea now, will upload pictures when we have more time and weve done more things, love to everyone x
