I remember these as a child...
Location: Olomouc, Brno, Telc, Ceske Budejovice, Ceske Krumlov, Plzen, Prague
Length of Stay: 5 Days
Cost per Day: $48

Now this is one you definitely do not want to miss out on... A truly stunning country everywhere I went... and one to add to your travel to-do list...

Accommodation was fantastic... they have the most massive pillows here... like 3 times the normal size...
and I tried something a little different here... sampled staying in a private home on 2 occasions...
Every train station has a tourist office and there they have a big white folder where you can look through the towns accommodation listings ranging from hotels through to pensions, hostels and privates... if you choose a private, they will ring the little old lady down the road and let her know you are coming by for the night... was a really nice experience...
Sometimes I feel a little bit over dormitories and crave to have my own personal space and privacy...
I walked in on a traveller in their birthday suit the other day... oops... I think I was more embarrassed than he was... 😊

Czech is also another reasonably priced country to travel in... I

Czech glass... very nice and different to the Italian Murano glass...
guess all the Eastern European countries are fairly similiar...

Prague's reputation as one of Europes most beautiful cities is certainly well deserved... in reality of course they are all beautiful cities, but this one is expecially a stunner... I only spent 1 day here, however the sun was out and it was absolutely magnificent...
You will need to share the footpath though with thousands of other tourists... I have never seen so many in the one location...

And boy oh boy... this is major heavy beer-drinking territory over this way... I first noticed it in Switzerland... walking past a cafe in the train station at 8am in the morning and people are already having a lager... thats pretty heavy duty...
The worlds 1st lager beer apparently came from the Czech town of Plzen in Bohemia... Plzen is Pilsen in German... Pilsener Urquell was its given name is still going strong...

Here's a little Czech for you...
