Cape Town, a wedding and a sad goodbye.

After leaving London for a final time, we headed across Africa to Shaun's home - Cape Town. It's our third trip to this beautiful city since we've been together, but it's just as special each time we arrive. This time was different, we were also getting married here!

We had 4 weeks in Cape Town before the wedding on the 10th April, and spent most of this time topping up the tan on the beach and finalising wedding stuff! Most of our tanning time was at our favourite beach - Bukoven Beach, wow what a place. We also spent loads of time on the West Coast at the little spot called Elands Bay! Shaun surfed and surfed and surfed some more and definatley got his fix!

The wedding day finally arrived and it was such a perfect day. 52 of our closest family and friends attended from far and wide.

The three weeks after the wedding were spent spending as much time as possible with Shaun's family. We've loved every minute of our time here, and I really love my new family😱
It's going to be hard to say goodbye, but as we reach this new chapter in our lives - we know that we'll forever return to this beautiful city and this isn't goodbye - but ''see you later''

The next three months are going to be filled with so much excitment and adventure, and we're going to try our hardest to keep you all up to date with our travels. Please follow us as we travel around South East Asia, visiting Malaysia, Philipines, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos before finally touching down in Cairns, Australia and settling down in Melbourne some time later this year.

For now, love you all TONS and TONS....
xx

Travel-tastic!
Hey Pudney's! Loved reading your first blog (i think it's your first blog...?). What a trip, already done and yet more to be explored and completed. South East Asia is AMAZING and you are both going to fall in love with it. Incredible people, yum food, picturesque landscape and more adventure than you could ever imagine. You must take an overnight train either in Thailand or Vietnam, sooo much fun and a little dodgy too, you may even come across a poo hand mark in the dunny which goes straight through on to the train track. The toilets on the train are very "special" to say the least. HOWEVER, this can all be overlooked as the experience of an overnight train trip in SEA is so very worth it. FYI, Hanoi to Sapa is a good one if you guys are planning some trekking. Anyway, i'll just keep rambling on about this area of the world because i'm so in love with it, so i'm going to stop there...for now ; ) Take care and have a blast : ) xoxo
