The three of us were only in Frankfurt for a couple of nights and it is plenty enough of time to have a good look around the city. Egle, a good friend of ours is travelling with us for a trip over the Easter period and great to have her along with us.

Frankfurt is realy just a financial city with not much to see as in the the old town and other things. We were very lucky though to have great host for us during our two nights and also got to visit a friend from Germany that I had meet in Adelaide a couple of years ago so it was good to see Carolin again. She is heading back to Australia hopefully next January and if any knows how to get a second working visa for Germans let her know, wants to stay longer than three months again 😊

Other than the more important things in the city we all found it not to interesting, just big sky scrapers dotted all over the place taking over the skyline. Although the sun was out and it was even 20 degrees! Such a bonus from coming from the snow of Lithuania for us and Sweden for Egle and seeing grass again for the first time in 5 to 6 months was exciting... Pretty sad for us...
