Antigua Church
Beautiful Church in Antigua, Guatemala Monday morning, and my friends returned around noon from their lake visit to Panajachel.
I asked how it went, but all they wanted to know was what I had been doing, and how the wedding was! A few of us went and had lunch at the sports bar Reds, where we watched Man City lose to West Ham. Then Internet, and just some more walking around the beautiful cobbled streets of the City.
Later that night I was discussing with my friend John, who is semi retired. He has seen a lot of the world, and of the places we had visited on our trip so far, he too was impressed by Antigua, its authenticity, and nice relaxed culture, and preffered it to other towns and Cities we have crossed so far. And I agree, its been a great place to visit.
I met my lady friend that night, and we had a meal in an Israeli restaurant named Gaia, and then a few drinks around town, and reflected on the wedding.
Today is Tuesday. Just getting ready today for our next trip as we leave Antigua tomorrow, to travel to Rio Dulce. Its been perfect to just relax here and do nothing when able to! Tonight we all have the opportunity to go to Salsa lessons!!! I'm going to consider this, and maybe I'll have another story for the next blog!! To be honest we've danced Salsa and Samba in a few places, so I'm not sure I need any lessons.....!!!!
