today kasey and i got up early and went to ash wednesday mass. it was interesting- not a lot of people were there and the priest had no help, but it was good to be there on this day. Then I wanted to go to the gym but saw that there was a yoga class tonight so i decided to wait and go to that. So I got to take a nap 😊 I then had my irish class where we learned how to talk about our families so my sentence was: Ta mise agus mhaithair agus athair agus ta deirfiuir agus dha chat agus madra agam. haha ya that came out of my mouth! It means something like: I have me, mother, father, sister, 2 cats and dog in my family sort of. haha

I then had my art and patronage class where we talked about the art of siena. It was neat to see the difference between the patronage of florence and siena. it was also neat to have a good chunk of the class say hi to me. I am no longer that strange abroad student! people know me!! haha

i then went to yoga! oh i missed it!! but it was weird because it was the first class so the teacher spent like a half hour teaching us how to breathe. we shall see if that happens again next week but it was a nice relax-time.

kasey and i then made mexican food. haha it was interesting! not quite like back home but it was still good and satisfied my random craving. I even had salsa. YA! granted it is salsa from ireland so it isnt spicy at all but i think you all should do a little dance and be proud cause that is a major feat for me!! and i liked it- imagine that! Dad is probably shaking is head now going "she should have listened to me" haha

and now i am going to start reading for class😊 hope you all are pumped and ready to start this lenten season! good luck keeping your promises.

till another day 😊

sounds amazing! i had a great ash wednesday. we took the middle schoolers to the traditional service at CPC. i decided to stop biting and picking at my nails..bad habit and it will be ridiculously hard for me so win win for lent! and im also writing a letter to God everyday for the next 46 days. i think it will be interesting to be able to read them back on easter and see how much i've grown and what i've learned or struggled with. so yah! yay lent! what are youre plans?
