Hello All! Happy New Year! It has been 3 weeks since our last entry. Wow time flies when you're having fun! Our celebration in Montreal did not go well. City was not prepared. Snow not removed. Road not closed. And no protester control. The show did not go on. The torch did arrive however. They never seem to stop that. Next day we travelled to Gatineau. Beautiful sunny drive. Good Celebration. Dec. 12 Ottawa. Christmas shopping and then off for my torch run. I was very nervous. What an incredible experience! Missed having family with me, but my away family was there and they are great! Went to the evening celebration at Parliment Hill. Very beautiful! Back to Hotel and shared some champagne with my honey! Yes I mean Hank! Dec. 13 Pembroke. Nice to get back to smaller communities. Very friendly. Beautiful drive to Kingston the next day.
