sunset at swansea
The coast at swansea - ?Rosalini, i forget the name because we cause it Mussolini after the italian dictator whose name i cannot spell So behind my blogs that it seems to be a bit of a lost cause - however maybe if I make a little effort and spend bank holiday Sunday night on the computer you might slightly forgive me. Apologies also if your email is one of the 112 unread messages in my inbox (I am not kidding).
Just chilling back in Essex - had a bit too much to drink last night, even got kicked out of a bar for being too drunk, and I was IN ESSEX!!! I must have been bad. Just trying to find a job at the moment. I have put my CV into a job about 2 hours away on the eastern coast, agent thinks It is promising, need some money to do some more travelling. I keep on looking at Ebay for concert tickets. Brought some tickets to see Shihad next month at the Shepherds Bush Empire should be wicked. Anyone want to check them out with me, I think there are loads of tickets left.
Mum and Dad arrived in the UK about 7 weeks ago. Ris arrived too for a couple of weeks but had to cruise back to uni in
breacon
beautiful. Wells.
After I got back from Europe, was unemployed for about 4 weeks (and was very poor - HSBC didn’t appreciate my overdraft without an overdraft facility). Went to work down in Redruth, Cornwall for about 4 weeks. Was amazing - I’d go back instantly. Reminded me of home. It was so beautiful and the people friendly. Work was fun, I was in a 3 ward community hospital, working on an medical/elderly rehab ward.
After cornwall went up to Newport, South Wales. A city about 15 miles from Cardiff or £2.70 15 minutes on the train. Newport is the dodgy city in Wales so kimmy girl fitted right in. Worked on an admissions unit and even was dubbed “the dirty OT” as during the 2 month diahorrea and vomiting plague I covered the D&V wards. It got so popular to call me dirty OT that some people didn’t actually know or they forogot my real name. Had an amazing crew/family - miss you Laus, Neish, Jennifaa, Ailsa, Fi. And got a bit hooked on surfing. Checking out newquay & polzeath. Even had a night out in Liskegard (thanks lau for having a birthday). Thanks also for amazing nights
abbey
so cool - the abbey was standing but didn't have a roof. A small underground pub nearby served goulash with chesse on top, i thought that was pretty interesting. out in Cardiff - even got to experience medics night at the philly, which was legendary. Drunken conversations with people who you recognise from work is not good. Thanks for the couch to sleep on Naomi. Breacon Beacons were beautiful - recommend the horseshoe hike.
Also managed 3 days in Prague with Jen - which was really cool. I really liked the communist walking tour that we did. A pretty city put together with dynamic history and cheap beer and dumplings.
Enough talk - will add some pics.
