Writing after some gap, thanks to lack of internet/computer and sheer laziness

Jeffries Bay was my last stop on the Garden Route, its a surfer's paradise, its well-renowned for its amazing waves and lovely weather to surf. Am no surfer, but decided to check the place out for a night before finishing this leg of the journey.

While the backpacker I was staying at was on the beach and hence awesome, the sad part was when we arrived there, we were told by the backpacker joint's people not to go out in the night because of high crime rate. Kinda killed the enthu 😞

Anyway after catching up couple of drinks that evening, called it an early night (had to get over the bungee hangover).

Next morning was supposed to be one of the best days for surfing as per some experts, but heck this is South Africa, only strangers and fools predict the weather here. The day was windy as hell, surfers who went to try, came back in a huff and puff (water gets into the eyes at such high wind, making surfing impossible).

I went with couple of friends to explore the town (actually they shopped and they wanted a man's opinion on the clothes they buy, women everywhere are the same, tsk tsk 😊. Anyway there was not much to do if you are not going to the beach here, later tried walking on the beach (must have gotten a ton of sand in the eyes). Its a beautiful beach, but it was just a bad day in terms of weather.

So came back early, caught the bus onto Port Elizabeth, for a night's stopover before heading to Jo'burg.
