1: Ice Sculptures 13 secs
2: Snowing 6 secs
Back home and just remembered I had not finished my Texas blog.

During our last week in Texas we all enjoyed an ice sculpture exhibition, the ice slides proving very popular, even I had a slide! It was lovely to see snow one morning, very exciting for us all. Colin cooked us a lovely "Christmas" dinner before we left and we all exchanged our christmas gifts.

Back home and Mum and I certainly miss Louise, Colin, James and Lachlan. We especially miss the hugs and laughs, both James and Lachlan are lovely boys and growing up very quickly. Getting up to an alarm for work in the morning is just not the same as a little voice calling "Aley were are you?" followed by the patter of little feet running up the stairs and then a warm little body launching themelves on to the bed to have our morning story time. Lachlan is full of fun and mischief, a determined little boy who can melt your heart with his smile and hugs.

Listening to James read his favourite books and watching him play sport reminded me of how quickly James is growing, he is certainly very advanced for his age. James I am sure will continue to excel at sport especially with Colin making the time to take him to coaching and practices.

Mum and I had a lovely holiday with Louise, Colin and boys. We were happy to see what a close and supportive family unit Louise and Colin have created, the boys are flourishing. They certainly took care of us over the four weeks we visited, I can't wait to go again.

snow
Hi Sounds like you and your Mum had a brilliant time - even though Ron wasn't with you. Like you say "maybe next time"? OR maybe you could have me as your 'minder'? I will email you with a photo of our snow. Luv Val x
