I'm still rocking it out in DETROIT! Whoop-whoop! Busy at school, tutoring, teaching Bible Clubs and at camp about once-a-month.

I leave on Dec. 13th for 2 1/2 weeks in Honduras! SOOOOO excited! I'm hoping to update at least a couple times while I'm there! I'll be staying with my host family in Copan, volunteering with a friend's after-school program, traveling around and visiting friends from Teguc, Guiamaca and La Joya ... and then spending Christmas back with my host family!!! I CAN'T WAIT!

Prayers needed!!! THANK YOU!
Blessings!

PS Quick story! On Tuesday I was tutoring a 3rd grader and we were going over her weekly spelling words. I was having her give me a sentence for each word. Word #5 was "strike" and she said, "Oh yea! I got a strike!" I'm thinking, "It's not good if you're up to bat and get a strike." So I asked her to explain. "You know," she said. "You get a strike when you knock all the pins down." OHHHHHH! I was thinking baseball and she was thinking bowling! Interesting how life experiences shape our perspective.
