Like Mumbai, Sundays are lazy here as well. But we woke up at 5.30AM to watch the India-Australia match, what a waste of effort it was 😞. Lazed after that till early afternoon and then Rusty prepared Braai (traditional South African barbeque) in the backyard. As we enjoyed a few Ciders, I love that drink, its little alcohol and as Rusty puts it a "morning drink" 😊
Braai is good fun, I can see it becoming popular in India also, Rusty plans to bring one to Mumbai whenever they return. Can think of many places where Braai can be enjoyed in Mumbai.
Also managed to book the cottage at Cape Point, there are only 3 cottages available there and usually go full, so I was lucky to get one for the 13th night. That will allow me to do Cape of Good Hope walks without being worried about where to stay.
After catching a nap in the afternoon, we went to the Indian+Pakistani dominated market here, the Pani Puri's could have been from a Delhi market 😊
The drive back n forth were beautiful (and now I have come to expect that of Jo'burg, but what struck
me was how clear and blue the sky is). And it started raining a bit, at one place it was raining and 30 degrees and 5 minutes away, dry and 20 degrees. The weather changes here faster than a woman's mind 😊
Evening was relaxed again, more Cider, yummy starters and Man U-Chelsea. And lots of chit chat among the three of us, once Shaurya had crashed.
Leaving for Cape Town in a few hours.
The pics here are self defining, but check out the "Natural Born Sellers" one. The banker inside me couldnt resist clicking that 😊
