Edit Blog Post

I have finally caught up with the blogs and am actually writing this one about today.

Not that I have a whole lot to say. I spent the morning with more blog writing, checked out of the Norfolk Hotel and came back to Perth. I had a few hours before I could check in to the new place, so took a quick wander into Perth City Centre where I saw a bit of a Christmas Parade, including Santa. Frankly, in this weather the whole thing just seemed wrong and weird.

I also popped into Woolworths like I promised to back in the first two or three entries- sadly nothing like the dearly departed Woolies in Britain- it's more of a Sainsburys or Tescos.

So, still having a couple of hours to kill, and having seen all the obvious things in Perth already, I walked over to East Perth. Whilst there was nothing particularly spectacular there, it was pleasant enough, with Victoria Park- a small area of greenery and views over the Swan River, and a small tributary leading into it. It was all... fine.

After that I was able to check in and continued on my blog

See, isn't that nice?
catch up session, trying to get it done before I go out for a few drinks with someone from the trip who is also in Perth. So we shall see how that goes.

And that means I am up to date... now.
