[youtube=QeRTmhDPDd8]We just arrived from a overnight road trip to Port Campbell. On our way to Port Campbell we drove through the historic Great Ocean Road which z'd up along the Indian Ocean. Our trip started when we picked up the little red kia ria rental. The total drive took us about 5 hours to reach the natural wonder known as The Twelve Apostles. David was a great driver and tour guide. We took several stops to get pictures and had lunch at Apollo Bay.

On our way to The Twelve Apostles, we saw a couple of koala bears on the side of the road. One was crawling on the road which we only drove by. The other koala bear was sleeping on a eucalyptus tree. The views along the coast were breathtaking, it reminded me of driving along the west coast in California.

When we reached The Twelve Apostles, it was very windy and overcast. The view was spectacular and the pictures did do some justice. There are only 7 standing lime stones at this time. After snapping several shots from the lime stones, we headed to a small town known as Port Campbell (population 599 people).

We rented a small 2 bedroom apartment and ordered pizza for the night. We actually had free wifi so we were able to communicate via FB. LOL. In the morning, we drove along the country side back to Melbourne. Stephen actually had his first lesson driving on the left hand side of the road. He did a great job!!!
