Day Seven... on the way to Paris

Well it was a fairly uneventful trip until we tried to wash the car as instructed. How many Americans does it take to wash a car at a French carwash? Evidently more than two... I believe I broke the car wash, and Gail was so pleased.

We had an exciting trip on the train from CDG airport...We got on the RER after consulting two different sources.. I would suggest that it was not the most pleasant journey. We changed from the RER to the Metro. The RER was straight forward; the Metro was a more difficult task. After walking up several stair cases with two suitcases (not Gail, me) we finally made it to the “Grand Hotel Leveque”. We found that escalators were not a priority and the crowds were, even on Saturday trying. Gail was most pleased. The weather is great; a little cool, which is fantastic.

We finally made it to the “Grand Hotel Leveque” and Gail was not a fan. She suggested the Grand part should be used as a disclaimer.

We had a picnic in front of the Eiffel Tower and it was beautiful. In

We did not have food shots yesterday so we thought breakfast would be good.
my wildest imagination would I have ever have thought that Gail and I would be sitting on the lawn having wine and quiche by the Eiffel Tower. There were many couples on the lawn in front of the tower that were, “should I say, enjoying their hormones”. We saw several couples that were getting married and overall it was a great day.

Gail is at this time very tired so I will save this note so that she can update with any of her comments.

Cheers
Larry

Gail and I could not believe the number of weddings and brides on the lawn. There will be several shots of these. All were Asians.
