Amsterdam - The end of the Cruise

Well this was our last day on the Prinsendam before we disembark tomorrow morning. We arrived in Amsterdam about an hour ago while we were still eating dinner. We went thru the lock about 4:30 then had a nice sail down the canals while eating. Today was spent mostly packing, eating, talking and playing Bingo (we didn’t win). They’ve changed the show times for tonight since some people are planning to get off the ship tonight once it’s cleared. So our show is at 9 instead of 8. I told Mom she could stay up for it if she was good so we’ll head up to the lounge shortly. Packing was a bit confusing since we’re staying in Amsterdam for 2 nights so had to determine what we’ll need there. Also I realized I bought way more than I thought I had so for tomorrow at least will have a shopping bag of that stuff. I’ll rearrange things in the hotel this weekend and we should be ok. Next trip I will definitely cut down on the clothes I bring since I didn’t wear half of it. The show tonight will be the pianist and also the singer we had earlier in the week so should be good. Tomorrow we’ll meet Erin and Dennis for breakfast at 7. They have to leave at 8:15 to catch they’re flight and Mom and I have an 8:45-9:00 window since we’re on our own. Hopefully it won’t be hard to find a cab to get to our hotel. We have a tour scheduled for the afternoon. I’ll try to post from the hotel if I can but if not I’ll catch up next week after I get home.
