Eurorail Trip Day 12

Today was about rest and relaxation... as Gail was still sick and we just needed a day to totally relax.
We went to Dusseldorf and booked our 37 hour train... yes that right from Slovakia to Athens... no idea how we making that one!

We then went to the movies and saw Bruno... and after the effort spent getting to the movie house and the effort spent to make sure the movie was English! Well the movie was the biggest load of rubbish I have ever seen! So it was a good hour or two that we just relaxed did nothing and rested our tired bodies.



After that we went back to Aarons and got given the best food we have had in ages.... I have no idea what you made for us Aaron all I know is it was fantastic! And the ice cream afterwards Gail’s favourite part of course!



We then went out with Aaron after work for a couple of drinks in Dusseldorf! A couple... ha-ha. We first drank some beers on the stairs next to the Rheine which was a stunning setting but freaking freezing... we moved from there. And stood around feeling like “bergies” and drank in a door way that was protected!

When we got to the club and found out the drinks prices we were glad for the beers before!
We went to a club called Anaconda lounge and for the first time in a while we had a good time drinking and dancing., and before you knew it we were looking at 4:30am , with a train to catch at 8am this was looking bad... so we stopped off for some good pizza and then rushed home to get 2 and a half hours sleep! Thanks Aaron for a good night out... still feeling the pain!
