The beginning....

Hello,

Its a public holiday in BA (dont ask me which one) but the streets are empty. Its probably around 3 or 4 degrees out here and I´m freezing! (thank´s for the beanie anny....at least my heads warm!)

Buenos Aires is beautiful! I keep on finding myself in all these cities that are supposed to take after Paris....and yet again...im in the paris of South America.

My Spanish is horr-i-ble...infact i dont even have that much for it to be horrible.....okay...I have no spanish. so suffice to say.....communication is not that easy.....but its all good!

anyways...I was meant to go straight to Lima, Peru....but instead i´m gonna work my way up Argentina...through Chile...to Peru ending up in Lima......catching all the major sights on my way.

I had to adjust my plans coz apparently there was some hectic strike in peru for the last few days and all transport had come to a halt. so i decided that I´d let them cool off before i grace them with my presence.

Because the trip is gonna be manic....i´m gonna probably leave tomorrow for Coroba in central-Northern Argentina. The town apparently was named cultural capital of South America.....so lets see.

Ive just wandered around San Telmo...the artsy corner of BA and now off to the famous cemetry..CEMENTARIO de la RECOLECTA...(nice..dead people in the cold).

Of Buenos Aires, for the moment I can say....coffee and paisteries....gorgeous people.....amazing architecture and cold.

Also...man, do you have to watch where you step.....these people love their dogs.....and their dogs love to shit...everywhere.

vash and vee....tell mum and dad i´m okay...and give them my argentine cell number!

Wow!!!! Huge change of plans....Was expecting you to hit Peru with a bang!!!! Thank heavens didnt call your hotel in Lima!!!!! .I am so jealous S America.....hope you are going Tango-ing...just need to find a partner! cant be too difficuly though with all the gorgeous people around!!!!!
